Making Right Choices

14 So, when Gentiles, who do not by nature have the law, do[a] what the law demands, they are a law to themselves even though they do not have the law. 15 They show that the work of the law[b] is written on their hearts. Their consciences confirm this. Their competing thoughts either accuse or even excuse them. (Romans 2:14-15 CSB)

While the Spirit and the Word provide direction and understanding, our conscious plays a part as well. Given to us by God even before we had the Word and the Spirit it directed our path. It helped us determine good from bad and gave direction on good choices.

God’s nature is written throughout his creation. We find it in nature and our make up, His divine signature.

Thus, even before you believed you were given a compass to assist in decision making. The law was written on our hearts before we knew what the law even was.

Making the right choice is not that hard, but the world wants to make the wrong choice more enticing. Thus our compass must always point up.
