Who am I?

11 But Moses asked God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and that I should bring the Israelites out of Egypt?” (Exodus 3:11 CSB)

Have you ever been given an assignment or a position that you were not totally prepared for? You may have wondered, like Moses, “Who am I” to do this thing?

God is a god of the broken, the unprepared and the unworthy.

In fact he may specifically pick the person that seems the most unlikely for a task. Because He knows that if we are fully capable then how will He be glorified? How will His abilities shine above our own.

Now do not think that this is only a thing set aside for the holy or around a task that has some grand end. It may be as simple as picking someone who works quietly in the background having subtle but meaningful impact upon others. Someone who God picks to take care of another and through that taking care He shows His compassion to all who see your acts of care. What God sees as grand may be the lowliest act to others.

Who are you? Just who God wants you to be….if you will but be that.
