13 No temptation has come upon you except what is common to humanity. But God is faithful; he will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation he will also provide a way out so that you may be able to bear it. (1 Corinthians 10:13 CSB)

There are many things that tug and pull on us each day. Many seem inconsequential at the time but chip away at our faith underpinnings and can create a foothold in our lives for wrong behavior.

When we allow these things to drag us away, little by little we lose our ability to stand against them. Soon very little is required to divert our attention. Sin and the enemy have gained a foothold and it is easier and easier for us to be led astray.

But none of this is uncommon to humanity. None of it is overcomable. All, through faith, can be refocused upon God and we are provided a way out.

If we will but look for it.
