6 We all went astray like sheep;
we all have turned to our own way;
and the Lord has punished him
for[a] the iniquity of us all. (Isaiah 53:6 CSB)
In life we tend to want to go our own way. To do things our own way. We often make a name for ourselves being who we are. Our personality and our nature create the persona of who we are.
While, inhearently, there is nothing wrong with this we must take stock of just how much of us there is and how much of the Spirit within. If the only thing people see is us, then we are not living life in the Spirit.
This too means that we have, more than likely, gone our own way and as such may not be on the path God planned for us.
Putting this into perspective we must ask ourselves – do we only go our own way or the way of the Spirit?
