26 Carefully consider the path[a] for your feet,
and all your ways will be established. (Proverbs 4:26 CSB)
To become established we must first put work into life building on a foundation that every aspect can grow strongly from. Otherwise we may flounder, stumble or have difficulty gaining traction.
To do so we must consider the path we have chosen. We must assure ourselves that how we are living is in alignment with how we have established our lives. If we are not living genuinely we may find that life becomes less than we expected. We may find we are falling short because we ar not keeping to the path we first created, the one we originally established.
It is not that this path may not change, but that when the path forks we know that the right path builds upon what we have established. Not tearing down but building up.
