It is easy to get fixated on what is happening right now. To not look beyond the moment and consider the greater things that might be at play.

When we do this we have typically fixed our eyes on our feet. We are looking at the next step and not the path ahead. We are experiencing the moment and not looking expectantly to the next moment.

There is value living in the here and now, but no value dwelling upon it. We must ever have our eyes fixed upon the way ahead. Continually looking to the one who can help us in this moment and all the moments ahead of us.

Keeping our minds set on what is above and breaking our fixation on the moment.
