9 Haven’t I commanded you: be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9 CSB)

Note how this scripture is phrased. The past, present and future are addressed.

Past – Haven’t I commanded you: be strong and courageous?

Present – Do not be afraid or discouraged

Future – for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

God is in every moment of our lives. We can see his work in our past we can feel his work in the present and we can put our hope and faith in his work in our future.

It is easy to listen to the father of lies and be afraid and discouraged. But your Heavenly Father has over come this world and the worlds beyond. If our faith is in Him, how can we fail?
