Life is a lesson, you learn it when you are done.

All we strive toward in this world will only leave a lasting legacy based on the time we invest in others. We often learned this too late in life and we look back on all the striving and realize that much of our time was wasted.

The time we invest in our spirit and in the spirits of others is the true lasting legacy.

None of what we gain on earth; treasure, knowledge, wisdom goes with us.
