How You Live

15 Pay careful attention, then, to how you live—not as unwise people but as wise— 16 making the most of the time,[a] because the days are evil. (Ephesians 5:!5-16 CSB)

How we spend our time tells us a lot about what is most important to us. Time is our most valuable commodity. Once spent it can never be recovered.

When we are young time seems endless. As we grow older time seems to slip through our hands like sand through an hour glass. Years go by without us recognizing its steady and unending march. We look around and suddenly we are old.

Thus if we do not pay careful attention to how we live we will find we have not lived as wise people. We will foolishly squander our years not making the most of them and allowing the evil of the days we live in to make more impact than we do.

To make a positive impact we must heed the time we have each day and make the most of every moment.
