2 When arrogance comes, disgrace follows,
but with humility comes wisdom. (Proverbs 11:2 CSB)

Four words to remember and tie together; Arrogance begets Disgrace; Humility begets Wisdom.

The first gives birth to the second in almost every case. It may not be immediate but with time each has an outcome.

So why then does the world seem to value the former over the latter? We look to the arrogant for wisdom while we berate the humble for not speaking up and see them as less.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.
