Sympathize

15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin. 16 Therefore, let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in time of need. (Hebrews 4:!5-16 CSB)

It is easy to feel like we are going through our most difficult times alone. That no one knows and maybe no one cares that we are hurting, that we are tempted or that we just need someone to listen.

But we have a savior who has come to earth and experienced all of the same feelings we experience. He can sympathize with our weakness and temptation. He did not sin, but he died to save us from our sin.

So when you are feeling most alone and misunderstood, know there is one who is there and understands.
