Stacking

34 Therefore don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (Matthew 6:34 CSB)

Have you noticed how each day seems to stack up with its own worries and difficulties? Yes, we may have worries that we pull forward from yesterday, but did pulling it forward make the worry better?

No, typically, it just compounds todays worries.

So we begin stacking our worries, right? We stack and stack and stack until we have a veritable mountain of worries. Our original worrie so buried under so many more we may forget just what we were worried about at the bottom of our mountain of doubt.

Wouldn’t it be so much better to just give our worry away. To unstack it all and just turn it all over to the One who has our entire life in His hands.

Stop stacking and start handing.
