8 he will destroy death forever.
The Lord God will wipe away the tears
from every face
and remove his people’s disgrace
from the whole earth,
for the Lord has spoken. (Isaiah 25:8 CSB)

There will come a time when the Lord returns and takes away all our pain, all our want, all of our distress. Until then we live in a state of grace.

While we wait for this time we will experience difficulties in this world. Even while living under grace we are still living in a fallen world. A world controlled in great extent by the enemy.

Thus, while we are here we must fight the good fight and run the race. We will have times when we are exhausted and times when we fail. But grace is ever there to stand in the gap between our sinful state and God’s plan.

We must simply stand.
