Self-evident

1 The heavens declare the glory of God,
and the expanse proclaims the work of his hands.
2 Day after day they pour out speech;
night after night they communicate knowledge. (Psalm 19:1-2 CSB)

When something is self-evident it takes no explanation. Sometimes we call that a no-brainer. It just is.

We assume that others have our perceptive capabilities. We inherently presume that others look at the world through the same lense as we do. But our world view is created by the environment we grew up in. Something that is blatantly obvious to me may not be to you. Thus, we cannot presume to see through another’s eyes without having walked in their shoes.

However, when the heavens themselves proclaim the work of God’s hands can anyone not recognize His work? As Jesus said, “I tell you, if they were to keep silent, the stones would cry out.”
