God gave us two ears and one mouth for a reason. To listen twice as much as we speak.

However, the world tells us that we need to be heard. That what we have to say is most important. But maybe its not….

Some of the most influential people I have met have been quick to listen and slow to respond. They may not say much, but you could bet that when they did what they said was worth listening to.

When we listen more than we speak, we understand more fully not only what is being said, but what goes unsaid.
