I was never much for statistics or calculations. I have, over the years, learned what I needed for my business life but rarely found them helpful in other aspects of life.

I am a simple man.

However, standard deviation, is something that comes up a lot in all aspects of life. It is something we need to use to understand the deviation from norm. We set an expectation and gauge how we are doing or how a group is doing by this statistical measure.

God does not use standard deviation. He wants us to keep on the path and not be standard and not deviate. We are to be strong and corageous in our walk. To strive for his standard and not deviate.

We need to observe our lives and determine, not based upon the worlds standards, but on God’s our standard deviation. Then we need to keep from deviating, not turning to the right or the left.
