Complete

16 All Scripture is inspired by God[a] and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17 CSB)

We are given inspiration at times. We may possess common sense. We may go to school and learn a great multitude of things. But it is not until we dig into scripture that we become complete. And in this completeness we are assuredly equipped for every good work.

But what, specifically, does that mean?

Well, through scripture we learn basic truths about how to live with the rest of mankind. We are given many parameters for life and how we are to treat others. We are shown how much God loves us. So much that he sent his Son to die for our sins.

In short we gain our moral compass and we are given hope when times are darkest. We are shown that we are never alone.
