Have you considered that your bad day might just be because the world hates you? I know, those are harsh words. We don’t want to be paranoid and think the world is out to get us. However, scripture paints a different picture.

When we accept Christ and begin to live a different way things around us change. While life becomes easier because we know where we are headed, and that the war is won, our current state may tend to go south. We may find old friends turning on us and things that are not in God’s plan, but that we would like to have happen, not happening.

We want to think that the Christian life is one of ease, but that is not scriptural. It is a life of service and sacrifice. Yes, it is a life of joy as well. But while still here on earth your bad day just might be the world trying to exert its desire on our sin nature.

So, about that bad day…remember the war is won.
