“For the Lord your God is God of gods and the Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes.” Deuteronomy 10:17

Have you ever been at the point where you start bargaining with God? You start to put up bribes, “God if you do this, I will do that…”. Has it ever worked? No, because God is not a god of bribes. We cannot bargan our way along with God.

But the beauty of our relationship with him is that we do not have to. We simply need to live by the word and bargaining is not necessary (even if it would work).
