13 Now these three remain: faith, hope, and love—but the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:13 CSB)
The simplicity of love seems to elude us more than just about any other emotion. The ability to put aside differences and simply love one another for who each of us are.
The entirety of the gospel can be summed up in the word love. Yet we try to complicate it into something far greater.
No greater love did God have than to give his only son for us. And there is nothing greater in this world we can do other than love. In the face of love nothing can stand.
