15 He then told them, “Watch out and be on guard against all greed, because one’s life is not in the abundance of his possessions.” (Luke 12:15 CSB)

When you are done with this life, what will you get to take with you?

Nothing.

Naked we come into this world and naked we leave it. Thus, all that we store up for ourselves will afford us nothing in the end. Only what we have done for eternity will last beyond the grave.

Thus, only what we do that extends out beyond us is of true lasting value.
