10 The God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ,[a] will himself restore, establish, strengthen, and support you after you have suffered a little while.[b] (1 Peter 5:10 CSB)

There are times in our lives when we just need to be restored. We need a refreshing after a long dry spell or battle. Maybe you are now in a place of conflict or disruption to your life. A place where you need strength and support.

God promises that he will restore, establish, strengthen and support us… after …. we have suffered a little while.

It is the suffering that we want to be rid of, right? However, a little suffering brings endurance, which leads to a strong faith and godliness.
