Friendship

13 No one has greater love than this: to lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13 CSB)

Friendship is a valuable and much neede commodity in our lives. Studies have shown just how important close friendship are to both a happy and healthy life.

When we practice being a good friend we may be called on at any time day or night. In the work place it may mean standing up for someone when others are being negative. In some cases a group of close friends become a brotherhood or sisterhood to us, sharing our every moment.

We may never be called to lay down our life for a friend, but Christ did that willingly for us. Should we not then do as much as we can for our friends? Being there for them through thick and thin?
