24 Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much [a]grain. (John 12:24 NKJV)

A seed must be planted for it to produce. If it does not fall and have a chance to die and germinate, it will never create the fruit it was made to produce.

We too must die to self if we are to produce the fruit we were made to produce. We must gain an understanding that when we strive only for ourselves and never for others (or God), we are limiting what we might truly be.
