Intervene

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall [a]direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV)

We may feel that our prayers fall short and that we are struggling to find our way. This is common to the human condition. Fallen man reaching out to Holy God.

But we are told to first, acknowledge Him in all our ways, THEN he shall direct our path.

How can we expect to come before God with petitions for our lives when we hold out portions of it from Him? No, we must realize that we must humble all areas of our lives to Him first so that he may intervene for us.
