We go about our days and really do not consider that everything happens in God’s due time. No, we think that life is more random or more working to our plan than to His. In reality, nothing happens that is outside of God’s plan or God’s control.

But how can this be? How is it that we have both free will and are within God’s plan? Surely He does not orchestrate the bad things that happen.

I have written before that I believe that God knows every path we might take. There are those paths that He desires and those that we have the free will to take. But if we are trying to live a faithful life, I believe even when we do not take the optimum path He works out His will in due time.
