Met Where We Are

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8 NKJV)

God meets us where we are. He does not wait for us to go to Church or to right all our wrongs. He simply meets us in our state and place in life and loves us from there. We cannot do more to make Him love us more, nor can we do less and have Him love us less. A being of love does nothing else but love. Even in His rebukes for our sins, His love shines through covering all of our sins when we first believe.

So while God desires change in our lives once we come to the loving salvation of His Son, He understands our condition and loves us anyway. We cannot also worship Him anywhere, we do not have to only do so in Church. Our every act can be an act of worship.

Reflect on: That while we were still sinners, Christ died for us all. Demonstrate that complete love for us in your daily life.
