11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put aside childish things. (1 Corinthians 13:11 CSB)
As we mature we put away childish things, begin to see the world differently and see our role in the world differently.
Some believe that maturing is a process that we complete, but we mature throughout life. The rash decisions of youth give way to the contemplation of age. We learn to take our time and not rush through life.
In short, life becomes more precious to us and we look to add value to others lives more than our own.
