¹⁰ So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. (Galatians 6:10 ESV)

The idea to “do good” would seem to be simple enough. But if it is, why do not more of us do it?

People confuse “be good” with “do good”. God did call us to be good, but He also has placed upon us a need to do good as well. We should not simply be consumed with how we might be better or do well. Yes, this is worthwhile, but should be a byproduct of doing good. If our go to is to do good, then we will be good. Make sense?

Life provides us many opportunities to do good. We simply need to keep our eyes and ears open to afford ourselves the chance.
