Beyond our Sense and Senses

We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, (2 Corinthians 10:5 ESV)

We all experience times of doubt, especially around our faith. Maybe we encounter a time of great suffering and wonder where God is. Maybe it is an injustice you suffer through and think, where Is God’s justice. Or maybe it is just something that causes you to doubt what you are reading in scripture. We all go through these periods and have these doubts.

God is big enough for your doubts.

God asked us to come to belief on faith in the unseen. He understands how hard this can be, but He also built into this the beauty and importance of a faith beyond our sense and senses.

Even the scriptures can be very hard to understand in places. But we were not mean to understand everything in them either before they happen (as in Revelations) or in some cases this side of heaven. There are many great theologians who have studied and argued about the meaning of the scriptures since they were written and this will continue.

God, however, made the most important parts very easy to understand even if they required a bit of faith to do so. So go beyond your sense and senses and accept the Word of God as His love letter to you.
