17 Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will be joyful in God my Savior. (Habakkuk 3:17-18 NIV)

Keeping our joy, through it all, can be difficult. Difficulties drag us down and we begin to feel that the world is against us. However, Christ overcame the world and is there to lean upon, if we will but reach out.

It is not easy to be joyful in these times, but if we can be faithful through the trials God will see us through.
