Love & Anxiety

Love finds no joy in unrighteousness but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. ( 1 Corinthians 13:6-7 CSB)

I have written on two things throughout the years more than any other: Love and Anxiety.

I have done so because I heartily believe that love fixes a lot of things, anxiety being the chief among them. And anxiety is rampant in our world. We are covered up with too many things that make us anxious.

So, I would ask you to take a test today, especially if you are anxious. Make a commitment, just for today, to apply love to apply love to every aspect of your life. Look at everything in it first with an eye toward embracing and loving the situation. See if this does not change your attitude and viewpoint, and dispel much of the anxiety you feel.

You see, when love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things and endures all things, how can we be anxious? Love provides an avenue for us to see our lives in a very different state. It lets us see it through God’s eyes, for He is love.

So, try very hard today to take my little test. Look at everything, even enemies with love. Show God’s love and compassion in every situation and see how it can change your life.
