Signs are There

20 For his invisible attributes, that is, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen since the creation of the world, being understood through what he has made. As a result, people are without excuse. (Romans 1:20 CSB)

The world around us, even our own bodies, are incredible works of God’s hands. It is we who choose to go about our days without noticing. God has made his work abundantly clear to anyone who will simply look.

As such, we are without excuse if we choose not to recognize God in everything. We, effectively, condemn ourselves by choosing to be blind to His presence and His magnificent creations.

Consider for a moment the infinitesimal: cells in our bodies have many different functions. They go about this function with no direction from us, but through a divinely wrought nature, they function and keep everything about us working. If only one of them ceases to do their job the entire body can shut down.

Consider for a moment the universe: billions upon billions of stars and planets, dancing in their orbits day after day, year after year, a cosmos beyond our imagining and compare. Do we really believe this just happened by chance. That all of the universal order was not brought about by intelligent design.

The signs are there, if we will but take a moment to look.
