13 The Lord looks down from heaven;
he observes everyone.
14 He gazes on all the inhabitants of the earth
from his dwelling place.
15 He forms the hearts of them all;
he considers all their works. (Psalms 33:!3-15 CSB)
Consider all of your works.
Really, take a moment and think about the last week. How much of that time did you dedicate to God?
I did this today, and aside from my morning time writing these devotionals and occasional prayers I did not have a very productive week…for God. Oh, I was busy and got a lot done, make no mistake. But I was just that; busy. I did not do my best to consider Him this week because I was so heads down with work.
It happens, and now after reflection, I need to get my head back to doing my work for God and not for man. This does not mean that I will change what I do vastly. Only that what I do, I remember I do for God. He put me in the role I have and I need to consider His presence in all I do.
Does He really care about my business life? Yes, yes He does. Because He cares for all the actions of His children because He set me on this path. He wants me to be successful and reflect His presence in my life through all that I do. It is when I forget this and start working in my own power that I am not well reflecting His presence in my life.
The Lord looks down from heaven;
he considers all their works.
