2 I will boast in the Lord;
the humble will hear and be glad. (Psalms 34:2 CSB)
Not everyone wants to hear about our views on God. Thus, out boast will be received by some and discarded by others. But this does not mean that we should be silent. No, it simply means that not everyone will listen, but the humble will hear and be glad.
You see, the good news and gladness we bring cannot be quashed by those who do not want to hear. If we quit speaking about the glory of God the stones themselves would cry out. The world around us sings of God’s glory, and the humble will hear and be glad.
The manifestation of God also resides within us. Our bodies are works of wonder and surpassing miracles that speak of God. All things come together to speak to the wonder of God’s creations, and the humble will hear and be glad.
So, if this short message is not reaching your ears, not touching your mind, you should ask yourself if you are one of the humble. If the answer is no, humble yourself before God, hear and be glad.
