15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin. (Hebrews 4:15 CSB)
Human weakness is something God is very familiar with. Luckily, He does not see us in light of our weaknesses, but in light of His love.
God knows that we will fail and as such He works on our behalf to try to keep us from our own weaknesses. He works to strengthen us and prepare a way for us to show faith through the strength He provides. He too was tempted in every way, yet is without sin.
So should we go on failing and succumbing to our sinful ways so that God can show His strength even more? No, this is not what God would have us do. He knows that when we continually give in to our weakness it simply makes us weaker. He did not create us to wallow in our weakness but to seek His strength. Strength comes from reliance. Reliance comes from seeing how God can build us up and strengthen our resolve.
It is true, there is little we can do without God. Many may scoff at this and flaunt their worldly success or power as proof this is not true. But they have put all of their faith in worldly things which are passing away. Doubt me? Look at the powerful and wealthy throughout the ages, where are they now? Some part of their legacy may live on, but they do not. All of their money and power did not buy them a single minute more on this earth. When their time was up, they went and we should ask ourselves what all that money and power bought them in the end.
We can learn from our weakness if we will but rely upon God to show us how.
