24 Be strong, and let your heart be courageous,
all you who put your hope in the Lord. (Psalm 31:24 CSB)
Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week leading up to Easter. We should take this week and use it to reflect upon our lives. Mark each day with a deeper learning of Christ walk from Palm Sunday to His resurrection. This is not just another week, it is a Holy Week and we should treat it as such.
Thus, I challenge you to take todays scripture as your beginning. Be strong, take courage because you put your hope in the Lord. Gain a deeper understanding of what our Lord and Savior did for us during this week of His life. I will do my part and strive to bring you food for thought each day, beyond the norm.
I chose this scripture today because I believe that what it speaks of is what we need as believers to search ourselves as we search Christ. It calls us to a deeper walk where we stop relying upon ourselves and gain confidence in wholly relying upon the Lord. As we do this through this week we can begin to release our grip upon a life we cannot control and give over to a life fully reliant upon God.
So walk into this week with the desire to dig deeper.
