Think Differently

15 All of us, then, who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. (Philippians 3:15 NIV)

Have you ever had the situation where you thought that you were perfectly clear on a topic just to have it pointed out that you were totally wrong?

I am sure we have all had this happen a time or two in this life. Sometimes it is a flawed interpretation, others it is just looking at a situation wrong. It could be that your life has lead you to different conclusions. No matter the reason, do you stick to your wrongful position or are you mature enough to shift your understanding?

When it comes to scripture and our Christian Way, do you seek God to make things clear to you? Do you truly want God to correct you so that you think differently or do you simply stick to a possibly flawed understanding.

I often seek commentary or others opinions around scripture, but more importantly I ask God to reveal His Word. There is much to understand and much that difficult to interpret correctly. I do not rely upon my often flawed view that can be influenced by my background, my views or simply a wrong reading on my part.

When God does reveal His Word and that light goes off in both your head and your heart you may just view the world in a different light.
