Take My Hand

25 So the disciples came and woke him up, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to die!”

26 He said to them, “Why are you afraid, you of little faith?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. (Matthew 8:25-26 CSB)

Do you truly believe that God has your life in His hands?

That no matter the outcome that He will be there for you?

It can be hard when we face difficult times to believe. We, like the disciples, are afraid and have little faith. But the Lord rebuked the winds and the sea for the disciples and while our storm may still rage, He says “Take my hand and I will walk through this with you”.

We do not take the time to accept that just because the Lord is not removing us from the storm does not mean He does not care. We may think we have been abandoned. But, the single set of footprints in the sands of our life are not our own, but the Lord who is carrying us through these times.

We just have to quit yanking our hand out of His.
