9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. (2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV)
No one wants to appear weak. We want to be perceived as strong, self sufficient and together. The reality is that few of us are these things. We have weaknesses, we are broken, and we are most scattered.
But this is exactly who Christ came to die for. The weak, broken and scattered.
Thus, we are in good company.
