14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. (James 1:14 NIV)

There is much in this world to tempt and entice us. So many things to draw our attention away from God and keep our mind trapped, focused anywhere but up.

We may say, “this is just the way I am”, but God had a different plan. For us not just be the way we are but to be the way He made us to be. To take the narrow path, the road less taken.

Thus, we must turn aside from temptation and keep our eyes upon God, from who all good things flow.
