5 In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”[a] (1 Peter 5:5 NIV)

A confident but humble approach to life produces a person who knows how to get things done without walking upon others. These are the people others want to follow or emulate. These are the people who put significance over success in life. They are also the ones who others typically see as wildly successful.

Being proud of our accomplishments is not necessarily a bad thing. However there is a fine line between being proud and pride.
