Behind Screens

7 My salvation and glory depend on God, my strong rock.
My refuge is in God.
8 Trust in him at all times, you people;
pour out your hearts before him.
God is our refuge. (Psalm 62:7-8 CSB)

In our daily hustle and bustle we can easily forget where our refuge is, where our strength comes from.

For many, after the last year we have endured, we wait expectantly for….something better. I think, if anything, this year has shown us clearly there are two things we need desperately in our lives daily.

God and the physical interaction of others.

We are not meant to be isolated or to live our lives in front of electronic screens! We are personally interactive creatures and I am not just talking about our interaction with others.

How many have begun to see God as something behind a screen?

We must remember the curtain between God and man was torn asunder when Christ died and rose again. He opened a direct path to God and gave us a Helper who is with us always. Even to the ends of the earth.

At some point we have to get out from behind our screens and begin to build our interactions again.
