14 Do not be yoked together with those who do not believe. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?

There is a fine line between yoked and ministry. We should be ministering to everyone. However, we need to be careful where we are yoked in partnership.

This can become a very touchy subject because of those who came to belief later in life. They may have a spouse or business partnership with someone who does not believe.

In these instances we are to be a light in the darkness and pray for those we may be yoked to already. There is much good that can come from a believer in the midst of unbelievers.

Look at the apostles who were inprisoned and ministered to hard Roman guards. Many of these guards and their families came to believe. But this did not come with just them watching the apostles. It came from deep prayer for the very people who were inprisoning them.

There is much good we can do in prayer.
