10 …yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. (1 Corinthians 16:10b)
As I have written about extensively here, we are given many practical and spiritual gifts. These allow us to handle our families, our occupation and our vocation.
Yet it is not we who do these things but the grace of God within us.
The more we realize we came into this world with nothing and we will leave with nothing the better we are. When we realize this we begin to understand that the most important legacy we leave behind is how we lived.
Life is not about what we have, or what we do, but who we are. And yet not us, but Christ living in us.
The closer we come to this understanding and discard the trappings of what we have for who we are, the stronger the legacy we leave.
