105 Your word is a lamp for my feet
and a light on my path. (Psalm 119:105 CSB)
Think about a time when something someone said or something you read gave you clarity upon the way ahead.
These epiphanies come to us from time to time to light the path ahead.
Scripture abounds with such possible epiphanies. As I read through my Bible I find great insight and great conviction in how I am living.
Trying to go through this life alone and without a guide seems very scary to me. Some say religion is a crutch, but I say it is no more a crutch than any other gainful wisdom and knowledge we obtain in life.
The other aspect of scripture is its adaptability in different situations in life. I have read scripture in one season of life and gotten direction and when I read the same scripture in a different season been provided another. I think scripture is infinitely adaptable to each season of our lives and each of our individual walks.
The epiphanies abound.
