Salt

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. (Matthew 5:13 NIV)

We all leave a print upon this world and those around us. We are salt to the masses. Yet, if our salt loses its taste what good are we?

We each have wisdom to impart. Even if you are young there is much you can convey through your actions. Wisdom presupposes value, each of us has value, each of us has something to teach.

As Thomas Merton said, “Every moment and every event of everyman’s life on earth plants something in his soul.”
