15 and he said, “Listen carefully, all Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and King Jehoshaphat. This is what the Lord says: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast number, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. (2 Chronicles 20:15 CSB)
Do you believe that God will fight for you?
If not, take some time to recount your life and compare to scripture what He has done for you. Often when we do this we realize that God has been there all along the way.
We confront life in our own capacity far too often. Making it much harder than it should be. We fear and plan, when we should be on our knees praising God for his deliverance.
Why praise Him for deliverance when we are in the storm? Because in doing so we show that we know He has already worked this situation out and His plan is fulfilled even though we may not be able to see it. We show that we know he will fight the battle for us.
When we shift our focus to praise for what He has done, we shift our mindset to gratitude and the world opens before us.
