30 The Lord your God who goes before you will fight for you, just as you saw him do for you in Egypt. 31 And you saw in the wilderness how the Lord your God carried you as a man carries his son all along the way you traveled until you reached this place. (Deuteronomy 1:30-31 CSB)

Why do our hearts fail us? Why do we not rely fully upon our faith?

Because we are human and see this world and what is happening in it through human eyes.

If we were able to see just a moment through God’s eyes we would never again see our faith fail us.

Scripture gives us so many examples of the good God has planned. However, we fall short and do not execute to God’s plan because we are not looking at the situation correctly.

We are looking at it in human frailty. When we begin to look at our situation through God’s strength, then we realize He has been there all the along. And he will carry us until we reach the place He has prepared for us.

This world and all that is in it is not our fight.
