How do you react to bad news?

Like most of us, you may not the immediately trusting nor confident in your heart. No, we face bad news wit trepidation and fear. The opposite of our scripture.

So how do we face bad news in a new way?

Well, first of all, we accept that in this life bad news will come. We live in a fallen world that is going to rust and rot and ruin. We cannot change this.

However, our first look at bad news should not be to focus upon the situation but upon the One who controls the situation. Yes, it is true, bad things happen to good people. We cannot always see the reason behind the situation. However, we have the Spirit within to assuage our wounds and guide us through even the darkest times.

Thus, how we react may be very human. But how we respond should be divinely inspired.
